A small view of the center square of my campus where my dorm is facing.
Dr. Watson's.
The place where I had my first ever meal once I arrived. Yinn Cher, Yinn Khurn & Aaron brought us there. Pub food beats Edinburgh's pub food. Maybe it had something to do with what a certain someone encouraged me to order in Edinburgh. (*ahem* keng *ahem*)
Aaron. Incredibly hard for me to get a shot of him since he is a very shy boy. Hehe.
Yinn Cher a.k.a Small Yinn.
Got my I.D. the very next week and signed up for a phone plan and got my Blackberry Bold 9700.
Have been waiting for this moment, a smart phone finally! =D I noob have been using not-so-smart phones all my life.
These few days the seniors have been bringing us all around Phili visiting places, gardens etc etc. It's really a nice place, and everything is close by so walking have been our primary choice of transport.
Down at the park.
Capturing people when they don't realize you're shooting them produces better pictures.
The famous Love sign with the fountain.
Perfect place to go for a picnic or just waste time walking along the fountain.
I kinda forgot where I took this, but it was really really pretty.
The most enthu fella on the trip.
Noone owns as many Jefferson Medical College as him!
Reading Terminal Market.
We mostly go there for fruits cause it's cheaper, the rest are just more expensive as compared to other markets.

Last week, bi and I made a trip to New York. Primary reason was to visit my uncle Tien Loi and Wei Phin's dad since he was in NY for a conference, but we took the opportunity to go sight see-ing too.
Walking around in one of the parks.
Could see the Statue of Liberty from the park but was too small to take a picture of it. But managed to see..
..the Empire State Building. =)
As time was limited, we couldn't go inside, and didn't take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Will do that the next time round I guess.
Other random park photos:
Random sculptures lying on the ground.
Sculpture in remembrance of 11th of September
Uncle Tien Loi had arranged a fantastic meal for us at Peter Luger's Steakhouse. Really nice of him to take the effort to book the place way in advance. And the steak tasted really good, one of the best I've eaten so far.
Peter Luger Steakhouse.
It's damn fattening, but other than that no complaints. Their fries were awesome too.
At church,
Aaron: Eh dude, let's go for it! *huge grin*
Me: So the conference thingy at California is in October? I'd be starting my second rotation already!
Yinn Cher: What's your second rotation?
Me: Psychiatry.
Yinn Cher: OH yeah you'd be needing church.
Next update: Atlantic City!
