Of the Finer Things/Food in Life

I'll just keep this nice and short -- Lafite, Shangrilla, KL. Normally, I would never afford to go for fine-dining, but because we have a Prestige card, it's free 1 pax per bill, which means a 50% discount for a meal for 2, so me & pwen decided to indulge in their showcase lunch one fine afternoon.

Nothing changed -- the setting, the food, chef Damon, perfect =D

Usually, you'd come to think that this would be my plate since it's fully filled right?

Well, it wasn't, lol. It was this pig's plate:

And of course, the best part to the showcase lunch -- the main course:

Cod fish, with potato and long beans beneath.

Forgot what was the foam made up of, lol.

It was heavenly. Honestly, enjoyed it more than my own main meal:

Lamb shank with avacado and some tiny rice thing which i forgot its name.

Meat was really tender and nice. Cod fish still tasted the best though. Hehe.

I would take this platter of dessert over Haagen Daaz anytime.

Am salivating just by looking at it, this 20 minutes after I had my breakfast.

After happily paying my 50% discounted bill, we headed to my mum's shop, where I had to pick out 2 frames to make new spectacles to bring over to the US. Not uploading any pictures about it cause 90% of the frame looked hideous. Managed to pick out 2 nice ones though, 1 for outings and 1 for home use/ OTs.

Was trying to get a good shot of her candidly, cause she never smiles properly when you ask her to, lol.
